Depending on the trailer design and/or tow vehicle, a lot of road debris could impact the front end of the bike while towing. Just saying.......

Thankyou for all the replies, I'm going to be looking into the skn-it cover , for those of you that have used this cover my biggest concern is the road salt , and spray, does it keep the weather etc off the bike? My trip being in December going to Florida from N.Y. and the return will be on salt covered roads ..

I have a Kendon dual bike trailer and made the rock guard this summer to help protect the bikes. Must have drove thru some wet paint on road construction as there was yellow paint on the guard, none on the bike.
WTH is with the sideways pics?

Nice! Is that a stand up trailer? If so, is the guard removable?

I have towed them in winter from Canada to Arizona. Uncovered (very bad idea). Covered but flapped and still let road spray get into some areas (lots of cleaning and still never got it all. Opened switch covers and various points on bike and found salty spray had gotten in). Uncovered in a V nose open trailer . Better but still got crap everywhere. Last bought a Low Hauler motorcycle trailer with Biker Bars for holding bikes down. Works perfect every time. Bikes stay spotless. Well worth cost for me.
