Default Best windshield for Road Glide?

Thinking about getting a Long Ride Shields 10" recurve for my RGS. Price seems pretty good, just wondering if there's anything better.
Thanks!

Have had an LRS on every bike for a number of years now including a Road King. Buy one and you will not regret it. Just make sure you get the correct height the first time. Bought one for new Road Glide too tall and now waiting for a shorter one to arrive so I can look over it, not through it. BTW, first ordered a 12" for the RG, now waiting for a 10". I bet I have been through 10 of their shields and always (almost) happy. Just don't be sitting waiting for it to be delivered as shipping is mighty slow since they partnered with another company.

I have a Freedom Shields windshield. Great quality, thicker than most, no distortion, looks good, and great people to work with. Their windshields also have a recurve at the top. They will recommend a size for you based on your measurements if you call or e-mail them.

You can return/exchange the windshield if too tall or short as long as the protective film is still on the shield. I've been very happy with mine - makes a big difference from stock.

I also have a Madstad and I love the adjust ability it offers. All the way down when hot and all the way up when its cold. That is especially good this time of year when the mornings are colder and the afternoon is warm.

I have a 14" LRS on my '17 Road Glide Ultra - Its the same height as the factory shield and works for me. I am 6'1''. Check out LRS on Amazon before ordering as the shipping cost are steep when ordering directly from their website. I went through Amazon for free shipping. I like the LRS, but doesn't seem as thick as other shields.

I had a Windvest shield on my '09 Ultra Classic and loved it.

Freedom Shields are excellent. Like caberto mentioned, they are thicker, no distortion, you can return them if not happy with them, several tints to choose from, plus you can apply RainX without damaging them.

been on a road glide since 04, multiple different shields, over 300k miles.

madstad is best, looks like $hit.

windvest is good
lrs is good

klockeerks = ok

im currently ruuning a HD windsplitter

have it in a 12 and 14

works for me and looks good om front of bike

i can hear the radio at 80, which for me was a plus, that i could not with other shields. the 14 is better than the 12 but the 12 looks best.

on my roadglides with the 12, i have amps on the radio

on the 14 no amp, is straight HD boom, can still hear at 80. even with stage 2 engine, true duals and slip ons

Thanks!
As you can tell from this thread, questions that start with "what's the best...." generally yield a list of everything that exists.

For Road Glide windshields, best to ask the experts: http://www.roadglide.org/23-windshields/
