I bought dealer take-offs for a 96/103 conversion. bought the harness and installed. wasn't difficult. Dealer turned them on for about 25 bucks, took them less ten 10 minutes. I had them do it before I tore into the engine. Have had no issues and the work without incident.

This. Again, to prevent any ACR damage, its best to go ahead and have the dealer turn them on before you start the process if possible.

Out of curiosity did your bikes fire up easier after the install of the 103 heads with the ACR's
than before with the 96" heads?

I had my 96 heads drilled by dealer, then used those heads to build a 107,
and bumped up the compression a little.

The 107 does start easier, especially noticeable when hot.

That actually depends on what cam your running. I left my Andrews 48's in (and love the way it runs) so it has a higher Cold Cranking pressure. As for starting, it hits about the same as far as the sound of the starter, and the time it takes to hit, which is less than 1/2 a second on average.

Mine starts so easy, my starter doesn't sound like it struggles anymore at all.
