Default white on black

I have a bike with wrinkle black paint on the primary cover and rocker box covers and they have a white oxidation on them. If I wipe it down with a damp cloth it goes away, then reappears in 10 minutes or so. How do I make it go away?

I seem to recall H-D has a product for that, otherwise visit your local auto parts store for a suitable aftermarket cleaner for matt black finishes.

Default HD engine brightener, pigsnot, silicone spray ect

Try one of these in an inconspicuous spot. Engine brightener made my motor look new again.

A "safe on all finishes" automotive wheel cleaner and some gentle scrubbing with a nylon bristled brush can do the trick. I have had success this way.

when I am really lazy, i spray the black parts with Tire Foam & just wipe the over spray off the chrome.

it's works for a few weeks, but not like engine brightener or pigsnot.

if i get a LOT of metal polish on the wrinkle black, i use a tooth brush & Carb Cleaner (or gas) to get it off, then rinse that spot & try to put something on it, to keep it from drying out, like armor all or baby oil..
