Nice bike and congratulations!!! Sure hope you get plenty of safe riding in before the salt hits the roads your way. And if you want to extend that riding try some heated gear (just a suggestion) as I have enjoyed cold weather riding much more since I first tried it. Best of luck and ride safe. Really is a sweet bike!!!

Please don't take this wrong, but is HD doing anniversary bikes ever five years now? Anniversaries are usually set out for land mark years, 25, 50, 75 and 100 years. Now we have 105, 110, and now 115. Why not just make all years an anniversary bike. Although I doubt they will bring much more in trade in value but if they keep going this way, it wont be anything special anymore.

Randy

ps. nice bike though

I agree that every 5 years lessons the impact, but I bought it for the exclusivity of the color and tank badges. Since they are only making 3700 of them it means most dealers will only receive one. I am 57 years old so I am not worried about resale since this will be the wife’s and mine retirement bike. Anyway this new 107 engine is night and day compared to the 96 I had in my 2007 Heritage. Still breaking it in, but I am amazed at the quick throttle response and 6 gear roll on for a bike this heavy. I can’t wait to really open her up and take our first trip. This is the first time my wife’s rode on a tour bike and she loved the comfort and smooth ride. Still getting used too low speed turning and hoping I can still ride this well into my 60’s!

HD has been doing every 5 years for a very long time, I believe since the 75th but maybe someone here knows more then me. For sure since the 85th to the present the have had anniversary bikes with special paint schemes etc every 5 years. Back then they would limit the quantity to the year, 1998 bikes in 1998 for the 95th anniversary bikes etc. Since then they seem to make more making them less exclusive. That said, all of the ones this years are a very nice color scheme and very fresh looking. I would buy one.
