Never thought of that. But, the fix is good to do...even though I gave an alarm.

If I'm gone on an extended trip, I place a padlock through the garage door rail just above one of the rollers to keep someone from raising the door.
It works, and it's way less expensive than electronic stuff.

when im in the city visiting some freinds they have a pull down steel door with a lock, they have a motion detector alarm that dials the police. this is a must. I leave my garage open most of the year and pray someone steels mine hahhah

pull the main fuse , put a lock in the wheel .

A cop at a neighborhood watch meeting told us that the easiest way to stop the crooks with coat hangers is to just take off the T-handle on the door release cord. There is nothing to hook on to.

No one said they are bullet proof.... they are a great deterrent.. and if someone were to jump my fence, they will surely regret it...

But if they want to bring a gun, it's not the dogs they need to worry about.....
