Default Reinhart Baffle Change

So I purchased the 2.5” baffles and removed my original end caps. The instructions that came with the baffles show a completely different setup than what I have. Has anyone swapped out baffles in these Mufflers? See the below pictures. The baffles are attached to the end caps and appear to be held in using an RTV silicon. I don’t want to start tearing at these things without first knowing for sure they are removeable. See pics for details. The first pic is the original baffle and end cap and the second pic is the new baffles. Thanks for any input.

Anyone? In doing a little research it looks like My old baffles were installed differently and RTV’d to the end caps. I haven’t seen that anywhere else in my Google journey. At least that is what I am assuming. Has anyone else seen this?

I have Rineharts and I remember the end cap being a separate piece. Unless you are in a huge hurry, I would call Rinehart

Yeah, unfortunately that looks like what I am going to have to do. I’m 99% sure these were just siliconed to the end caps.

So I called Rinehart and they explained that is the preferred way to mount the baffles now. So after a little muscle and a few cuss words. I was able to remove the baffles from the end caps.
