I couldn't resist . I ride year round here I rarely see a thermometer reading below 30. But I insulated the attic in the garage and I never get condensation on the bikes. I had a 12 x 12 work shop before and it would look like it rained inside from all of the condensation.

Cover the open end of your exhaust pipes with plastic bags and a rubber band to keep the moisture from getting into your engine's internals. Your valves could be open depending on where your engine stopped.

I run a fan 24/7 when the frost is coming out of the ground (cement) and thru the rainy month of April. Not just for my bike but my tools and equipment.

The heat may attract rodents that will build a nest somewhere on your bike and chew on the wires and other parts...

this is what I do. Cover is laid loosely on bike, only to axle nuts, then fan blows under cover, and around garage.

The constant air movement keeps condensation down, doesn’t create heat to attract unwanted house guests and only costs a few bucks to run all winter long

my bike doesn’t sit for too long unless we get a really bad winter.

Good advice....one other thought - instead of the chore of getting tires off the ground, just pump them up to around 50 lbs. In the spring it avoids the flat spot....of course deflate to advised pressure before riding again.

Had mine in a shed last couple years, would get condensation. Tried a couple of things. This year going to leave in garage if it gets condensation I'll fire it up and go for a ride. Yes it does matter, they corrode, even under the chrome. I have mine nice now and want to keep it that way. Thought about using climate control storage unit but for the price I can just leave the insurance on and ride it from time to time when the roads are clear.
