Starts faster cold without waiting for key light to turn off
2006 Ultra
Perhaps it is my imagination, but my cycle seems to take perhaps two more revolutions to fire if I wait for the key light priming to occur when the cycle is cold. When it is warmed from riding, I never wait for the priming delay. My battery is new, the fuel is always 91 octane from the same nearby gas station--and I always press the manual compression releases first thing as soon as I stop anywhere, including in my garage. I only began to notice this after I replaced my very old (8 years, yet still quite good) Harley battery with one from Deka--a good, more powerful battery too. When parked, my cycle is always on the battery tender--and it goes solid green within just a few minutes of being plugged in.
I have no problem with all this. I am just curious if anyone else notices the same situation.
Thank you for your observations.
