Default Clutch lever rattle

How do I stop this. When riding down the road it rattles to the point of me keeping my hand on it to stop it. Clutch is adjusted properly. Now before everyone has a fit about the girly leather streamers on it, it did it before putting them on. The plastic clip is there and doesn't seem to be warn.

I would replace the clip. It is designed to stop play [rattle] my plastic clip is metal.

You need a new perch. The hole is worn in the perch.

Agree, either replace it, or pull the pivot pin and put a light coat of rtv on it and reassemble. Let it dry, then ride at will, the first engagement or two might be a bit stiffer, but it'll quickly relax.

Its the “bracket” that is clamped to the bar and has the mirror, cable, and lever mounted to it.

From watching your video, I would try and pinch the clutch perch closed some to limit all of that vertical movement that you have in the lever. Use a C-clamp and put a rag over the perch so you don’t scratch the hell out of it.

You can also replace the perch, pin, and sleeve if any of it looks worn out but we can’t see that in the video. You’d have to take it apart and inspect it.
