So I changed my driving lights and turn signals to led. Now I've got the red key light coming on. I checked the codes and got 1121 and 1122. I cleared them to be sure they were current and they came right back.
I looked them up and apparently they are for the left and right turn output fault/open.
I'm assuming they're being caused by the new led turn signals. I'd like to keep the new LED's. What do y'all think is causing the codes and how do I fix it? Or should I just put the old turn signal bulbs back in and avoid the whole problem altogether?

 

LEDs present a different load to the computer. Possible a load equalizer?
Perhaps call bulb manufacturer and ask.

Yep you will definitely need a load equalizer for the turn signals. Headlights don't change anything.

 

Yeah, I just read another thread with pretty much the same problem. I'm ordering a load equalizer as soon as I'm done typing here.
