Rivera Primo Game Changer

Just go to www.pdi-racing.com and fetch your own! LOL As for the 1066-0050, PDI Racing has that one in stock as well. $164.95 w/free shipping or I think it was 2 day shipping for $7.

Well Walmart.com had one listed at $207. The seller was actually "Lionparts". I took the risk, we will see if it comes. When I first started looking PDI had them posted for $165 and Powersports Superstore was in the same ballpark. On further investigation I found that they were sold out. Powersports inventory says it is on backorder to be filled in late Feb. In the past when I have bought things through a pass through...such as Amazon or especially Wal-mart I end up getting an email saying that they are sorry...item on backorder or cannot be filled. The Ebay one for over $300 was a real game changer for me! Got me all excited when I was seeing listings for 165 bucks!

I just picked one up too! PDI racing $165 with free shipping! I spoke with Harley and was told that the "upgraded" compensator is the version that came installed from the factory on the 2014-2016 bikes. Guys with bikes from 2011-2013 can by the "upgraded" compensator without the rotor. I deciphered from this that for my 09 flhx I will need the upgraded rotor and compensator kit, that complete kit will make my bike current with a 2014-2016. I porchased Rivera Primo part number 1066-0051, which should be right, according to HD.

FYI,
May I suggest some tips for anyone doing this upgrade. The Spocket is going to be a very nice upgrade and folks that have made the upgrade are very happy!
However:
1. You will need to reset the gearing via your Turner (TTS, PV, ETC) in order to get your 6 gear light to turn on and to be able to use Cruise Control IF you have it.
2. You MAY want to grind the model number that is stamped on the back side of G/C sprocket too.
Some Folks have reported that the stamped Model number can rub on the SE Comp Sprocket and leave some metal shaving that ended up in the Primary.
3. Also IF you can when ordering the G/C Spocket, try and get another "Clip On" plastic shoe that fits on the original chain tensioner.

Hey Yellowbird...
Are you saying to get an extra shoe ? So get the one that comes with it and an extra one. I’m pretty sure I dont have to change the chain right? I see some of these come with a chain. What is the best way to confirm that I have the upgraded compensator?

I don't know how to tell if your bike has been upgraded (other than pulling off the primary cover). Mine is an 09 and it has an old compensator design, I don't know when SE compensators became the standard from the factory, maybe 2011 as the 0050 model of the Rivera says it fits 11-13... but that's a guess.
