Even if you put one of those down there in front of the saddlebag, by the time she would drink it, it would be **** warm

A buddy has that holder on his '12 King and uses the skinny 24oz Hydro Flask bottle. Fits nice in place of the plastic bottle. In between gas fill ups in 85* last summer, his drink was still full of ice.

Hey that is good to know. The one that comes with the holder is crap. Wife used it once. Too hard to get in and out. So she just put a regular water bottle in it. Too close to exhaust, got warm too fast.

Has been on the shelf since. I will have to check into one of those flask bottles.

On a side note to the OP. if you don't want to put the bars on......

A buddy of mine drilled a small hole in the bottom corner of his bag and put a petcock drain in it. Fills it with ice, beer, and soda for trips. He just opens the petcock and it can drip drain going down the road.

I've used these mounted to the inside of my RK windshield. Always ended up breaking off after a few thousand miles at the mounting bracket on the holder.

About all the crash bar bag beverage holder is good for is making hot coffee.

My Shovelhead has had a petcock in the bottom of the downhill bag for 30 years. Works great!

Ever find.a tourpack Mount that doesn’t require the speaker pods? All the brackets I find go to the speaker pod bolts. I don’t have pods. Just the pad.

Yea kind of a unique name making you think it’s not a legit product. However the straps are designed much like a bra that stretches across the rear of the tour pak seat.
