Your bike looks better with black, but it doesn’t matter what we think as long as you like what you see.

 

keep the black exhaust, go back to the chrome air cleaner. IMO

 

To each his own...but I like the chrome.

 

I've had black exhaust and chrome exhaust on my 09 FLHX. The black looked cool, but the chrome seemed to stand up better.

The black needed to be sand blasted, then I started using BBQ paint every second year. Ha ha.

I like the black. I know there is something needed to be done with your football IMO. Ive also had the black heavy breather and the chrome one. [long story] but I prefer the chrome heavy breather.

I think you can get the snub nosed filter, but you don't need to spend $400+ just cause I said so.

Like many before: if you like to go to the garage, drink a beer and stare at your motorcycle, then it is right for you. When you're riding it doesn't really matter what colour it is, so long as it is not green [ha ha - google green motorcycles] or some real odd ball colour.

Anyhow. It looks good.

With that bright orange, I prefer the chrome. Contrary to the usual effect of going black, it actually makes the black parts stand out more.

You need a paint job now, or too swop the painted parts with someone and go dark.

 

I prefer the chrome look but it's your bike and if you like it, that's all that matters.....

 

You need to black out the front end.
Black is refreshing compared to chrome.

 

I vote for chrome. Never been a fan of the blacked out look.

 

I think black is a fad (and looks cheap, imho). Chrome is timeless..........

 

I'm a chrome guy but I actually really like the black racks and exhaust with that paint. Not a big fan of the air cleaner though. Might just be the angle or lighting but that's really the only thing I'd change.
