I used to average 8,000 give or take on my 05 Ultra when I used E3's. I switched to American Elite on 5/17/16 and have 9,000 on this rear tire. Looks like I could get another 7-9 thousand on it. Love them and they ride great.

The skinny 130's would last about 10k miles on my older Roadking and Heritage,
the wider 180's are lasting about 18k miles on my 2010 FLHTK

got 15k or so on the set that came on my 2012 Ultra- rear was shot no tread left. Front coulda gone a little longer but....

They woulda been pretty pricey to replace so went a different route replacing them.

AEs are great tires. Light years ahead of a 402. 8000 is about average for me. Only got about 3000 out of my last rear thanks to a few nails. Had to ride 330 miles from Eureka Springs, AR to my house on a flat one last summer (four cans of fix-a-flat and a lot of air stops). Tire still looked good but obviously it was shot.

I’ve worn out four sets. 16-18,000 on the rears and 24,000+ on the fronts

I have been running them since they came out I can get about 11000 miles on a rear but I have a 08 ultra the answers you are getting depends on what year their motorcycle is the 09 and up will get better tire mileage

On third set, 14-16,000, but front wears a little faster and I change both at the same time. I could eke out another 2000 on rear, but that would mean changing the tire on the road somewhere.
I like the tire, great performance wise and good in rain. We ride two up. As long as they don't screw with the formula, we'll keep using them.
