Default 2015 road glide Klock Werks vs windvest windshield

I’ve narrowed it down to the pro tour 15” from Klock Werks or the windvest 14”. This would mostly just be used for cold weather, riding with a passenger or long trips. Not around town. Anyone with experience with both would be great. I’m 6’3” and should be able to still see over both.

Had a Klock Werks and hated it. Have not had a windvest but have had a bunch of LRS. Best bang for the buck. Sign up for their emails as they frequently offer great specials.

I've been using a WindVest 14" for almost 2 years now. Works very well for all seasons.
I did get to try a Klock 15" for a day and it was good, but I liked the windvest more since it was easier to look through - not that I look through it much. At 14" I look right over it about 95% of the time.

For the money the windvest looks like it’s the way to go.

I've had 5 different windshields and the Klock Werks is by far my favorite for looks. The Long Ride Shield protected me the best from the wind.

I’ll look them up. You had the sport flare or the pro tour?

I had the 6.5" flare

That might explain why it wasn't great in the wind because at 6'1" I probably should have had the 8 3/4" but I like the shorter look

I've owned both Windvest and LRS models for my last 3 bikes (SG, RGU, ULTRA) and have found both manufactures' shields work very well.

regards,

I have the KW tour in both the 12 and 15 varieties. Both are great shields, but the 15 is huge, and takes away from looks. So the 12 is used unless temps are below 50.

I highly reccomend KW. Fantastic company with great customer service, and great products.
