For three years.....yes.

No more half helmets, no more riding in flip flops (JK!), etc, etc.

All my riding buddies know that in the unlikely event that I go down, stopping any bleeding is goal #1!

I cant imagine a little thing like bleeding to death would stop me from riding. I take Amlodipine for High BP, it is what they refer to as a channel blocker, relaxes the blood vessels for better blood flow. Not really a blood thinner but I guess close to the same effect.

Three heart attacks, seven stents and halfway through the battery of my second pacemaker/defibrillator ICD. But I'm no longer on blood thinners.

Been on thinners since Nov. 13, wear med. ID's and on long trips a bracelet with med info on a micro card.

I guess I'd ask why you need blood thinners? If it's to disslve a clot I might be concerned that the shake, rattle, roll and generally rougher ride might jar it loose.
Otherwise I don't see any difference for normal everyday living...
