Default What are you using for a drink cup holder

What are you using for a cup holder? I didn't like what Harley had to offer, and was looking at the Kuryakan #1422 for the driver, and Kuryakan #1482 for the passenger. Anyone try these? Is the universal handlebar clamp mount the way to go on the driver cup?
Someone also suggested I look at the Ciro3d.com drink holder.
Thanks, Richard

I have tried several options of cupholder because I like to have a sip of something cool from time to time while on long hauls. I never found one that I liked well enough to leave it there all the time. I am too cheap to shell out the coin but I really like the hog trough. Check that out if you want something that is there all the time.

I actually just gave up on the cup holder thing because it gets too warm fast when out riding. Now I just plan in more frequent beverage breaks and ditch the ugly cup holder. I leave those for the goldwing guys.

Cheeky coming from the guy with tassels on his handlebars LOL. Do you have a detacheable basket for the bars too?

I use Kuryakan for rider and passenger. The one for rider has been great for over 100k miles. The passenger one I end up replacing the basket once a year because it decomposes due to weather and UV.

I've had one mounted on the handlebar for years. I always carry a water bottle with the pull open top on long hauls across the arid west. On a hot day with 10% humidity, a squirt of water down your back, another one down the front of your t shirt and a squirt down your throat is incredibly refreshing.......and you don't need to stop. Anyone who's ridden across WY, NV or UT knows what I'm talking about.
