Default Best 1157 bulbs for 93 FLHTC

Switching all lights to LEDs. Hardwired Badlands Load Equalizer 3 into harness. All single contact bulbs working fine - need brake light and front signals bulbs to complete job. As noted in other posts 89-93 runs 68537-89x self cancelling turn signal module - not sure if this would be an issue.

Bulbs? Or LED circuit boards? If the latter, source Custom Dynamics.

Here's hoping you aren't a OPW that I've risen to the bait on...

Default Thanks Raider Bill and Veekness for quick responses

Have been attempting to go bulb route - 1156s in tail signals and 194 in tip light have worked well. However lights with running application ( brake and signals ) are issue. I believe I will have to add direct ground from tail/signal assembly to battery to conquer brake light intensity fluctuations. Front signals have been a bear - I have no answers there - round 1 had me out with service manual, testing harness, scratching various body parts and not liking the result.

BTW Veekness - I am techno peasant so OPW just gets WTF from me

I have LEDs all round on my 1990 Glide and have had for several years. The Badlands I have works fine with my stock module. If and when that packs up I will replace it with one of the later-spec Badlands modules, or similar, which include features comparable to the stock module.

An update. I received lights ordered off ebay today - installed and working perfectly. ( link below ). Cost of changing out all bulbs for 93 Glide was less than $150 Cdn ( including Badlands load equalizer ). Passing lamps and headlight changed over to LED last fall - gives you 7 telephone poles visibility at 100 mph - just saying. Bike now completely LED.
Overall the old horse has responded very well to changes - completely lite up ( btw my passing lamps work with hi beams ) at idle - with 4 ways and brake light on less the 1 volt change on gauge from low beam only. By contrast - brake light alone would drop gauge almost 2 volts with old bulbs.
The winter's work is done - stereo upgrade to 400 watts, new Mustang seat, windshield, and lighting. Budget $1000 Cdn - about $800 US. Even had couple of bucks left over to offset the cost of some of the beer I consumed in the process.
Over the past 24 years my stock bike has become the dream bike I wanted when I was a kid - yes Dorthy dreams can come true.
