Default Saddlemen Dominator Seat

Hey Guys, been looking for a solo seat for my street glide that looks good and is comfortable for long rides. The stock seat burbs my azz after about 100 miles.
Saw this seat on a street glide at the dealer and asked to demo it but parts guy said no way so I walked. It does look cool on the bike. I sat on it and it felt ok but what can ya tell from that without riding on it for a couple hundred miles.
Anybody have or try this seat?

What did you end up getting? I'm looking at the Saddlemen Dominator as well, feels pretty comfortable but haven't bought it yet.

I got one on my bike with maybe 1500 miles on it. It sits way higher and forward than my previous Mustang seat. It pretty comfortable, but once I bought the back rest it feels worlds different. They should not even sell it without the backrest. I had them custom build the backrest without that gay looking bag on the back.

I tried 3 different Mustang solo's, I really liked the looks but all of them when I sat on them I could feel the back of the seat against my butt and that bothered me, I know I would get used to it, I also felt the Saddlemen sat me higher but was pretty comfy and it seems to suit my bike better(that's just my opinion of course lol).

It's way more comfortable although it did sit me a bit higher and closer to the tank which I didn't like.

Just FYI, talked to Saddlemen and they said the dominator is +1 forward/+1 up. Been looking at one myself but don’t want up with my raised suspension.

It's not easy to find a very comfortable solo seat. My Mustang Vintage Solo is a half day seat, with a few stops in between.

I have read here that the CVO solo seat is very comfy, but I don't have firsthand (firstbutt?) experience.

Danny Gray also gets rave reviews.

I haven't seen any glowing reviews for the Saddleman though.

Had a Saddleman Explorer Ultimate on a 03 xlh and a Mustang Vintage on a 09 xll. I think the Saddleman had the edge. Both were good.

I had that seat for about 6k miles. Painful uncomfortable miles. Sold that seat on here for 185 bucks to get rid of it. Wife had me pulling over after 30 miles on the passenger pillion. Returned that immediately. It does not soften up. Sun bakes the gel and makes it hotter. I have the cvo solo now. I can run out a tank of gas on this seat.
