Those two...up to this point, it's only been about the exhaust clamps securing only pipe...but the interval is the same...the preferred interval is every time you remove and replace them.

I don't.

But I'm a bad one.

Very bad.

Recently I have been reusing the Torca clamps, but as you said it is recommended to change them everytime you remove them. Kinda like the Derby gasket thing, the problem is that the clamp does not retain its strength once it is tightened down, in theory anyways.

Isn't that like putting instant coffee in the microwave?
I'm pretty sure you go back in time when you do that.

lol

whats more confusing is Loctite makes antiseize too.

I'm no idiot, but when reading my manual years back working on my FLSTF it stated to use "Loctite Antiseize" and I was like wtf? are those 2 things kinda opposites? At the time the antiseize I was buying was Permatex, I didn't know Loctite made that product too.

A company name like "Loctite" implies it locks bolts on, not helps you get them off!

Never in my life have I ever heard you should replace them each time you remove the pipes.

Any documentation/link you can point me to on that?

There's been times in the course of a month I've had the off multiple times for new tires, belt adjustments, cleaning/inspection whatnot. I can't imagine putting on new ones each time.

It is listed in my 2004 HD service manual, but I can't find it to verify. Maybe in the links below:

As hbsoldier3 says, it should be in the factory service manual...but I don't think the bike will fall apart if you don't replace it every time. I will acknowledge that the clamping area takes a 'set' when it is tightened and heated...just up to you.
