He probably joined the Darksiders in their own sandbox.

But they are not recommended any more than a C/T is.

If that was a serious question you can start by reading this thread...

Not everyone does it to save money. If I was only out to save money I would wear out the OEM tire on my new bike first, but I won't. I will have a car tire on the bike by the time it has a couple hundred miles on it.

I personally ( and my wife also) feel safer riding on the right car tire. I am not saying you should do it. Motorcycle tires are the base line data point, but by definition the base line is not necessarily the best.

Because those of us with superior intellect feel obligated to share our wisdom with the less fortunate.

Also, there are a lot of vids showing a car tire on the rear. This one seems the most extreme. It does seem to maintain a reasonable contact patch, even though the tire is riding on the edge edge that was not designed for that. So, I’d make sure the tire chosen has good channeling on the edge, to channel, off water. And that the edge was more rounded than a sharp transition.

BTW, if there was a decent car tire I could put on the front of my TriGlide, I would consider that, as the Trike doesn’t leand and goes through front tires.

Edit: the only tires that would fit the front are car temp service spare tires.
