V&H seems popular...very rarely see them around my area.

Supertrapp (ST) Supermeg with ST Trapp Cap end cap. I switched from a V&H ProPipe. Loved the look of the V&H but it was too loud. The ST has "disc technology" that allows a wide range of sound levels and back pressures. Fit and finish of both V&H and ST are excellent.

nd levels and back pressure.

I like the looks of that supertrapp. Do u have a picture taken directly 90 degrees from side center....so straight on at the side of the bike?

What are you doing with the FM 2-1-2?

I've never considered looking at these, but it actually looks pretty good. Do you have to run the end cap on them or will the disks stay on without? How do they sound? Looking at them online I don't see an application for the M8 right now.

Some kind of end cap is required. In pics, mine is an "open," which means louder and less back pressure. Where open end caps are used the number of discs seems to have limited effect on sound level. Where closed end caps are used more discs = louder. But even at a full compliment of discs with closed (i forget how many but it's a lot) it's quieter than any open setup I've tried. The flexibility to tune sound is pretty cool. I do run closed a few time a year, particularly for long trips. I don't have to worry about re-tuning because of the Thundermax.
