Default Considering Street Glide

Ok, so I live in WA state. I'm a fair weather rider a bit and not ashamed of it.

I had a softail for years, traded it last year for a 17' Low Rider S.

Fell in love with a fairing and radio when they gave me a loaner bike (street glide special)

Wife thinks I should trade my LRS...

Think the fairing will keep me that warm?

What should I be looking for?

If you want to be warm, keep close to your wife....

If you want to look cool, buy a SGS.....and put your wife on it...

First post pics of your wife, we'll make the assessment.

If my wife told me I should upgrade from a low rider to an SGS, I sure as hell wouldn’t be here asking you guys what I should do...I’d be down at dealership picking out my new SGS.

I have a 2014 Street Glide Special for sale on this web site. Turn key many upgrades to it. Just look on motorcycles for sale. Allot cheaper than dealer price, plus I have a 2 year warranty unlimited.

Not a LRS but before my current SG I had a Slim S (blacked out with 110 motor). I'm a very happy M8 SG owner. Tunes is important to me on long rides.

Go for it. Stick to the 2017’s or newer for resale. Right now there’s a ton of 2016’s and older for sale and hard to sell. People tend to want latest and greatest. I passed on a 2014 SGS with a ton of options and 2500 miles for $14K.

There isn't a cooler bike on the road than the Street Glide. The fairing reduces buffeting and definitely takes the edge off long hauls.

I think you should keep the wife and get a Street Glide Special.
