Default Cheaper option to make my tourpak detachable?

2010 Ultra Classic. The Harley detachables kit plus the wiring harness kit is over $500. Is there an aftermarket kit that is less expensive? I cant seem to find one. I really dont want to relocate my antenna (would rather go with a hidden antenna in fairing) or need a passenger intercom hook-up when the tourpak is off. Are there simply plugs I can buy to detach the speakers, cb, and radio antenna?

Cool

I have an older bike, so don't know how your later bike may be different. My tourpak is held onto the bike rack with 4 screws, which take no time to remove. I modified the wiring in the tourpak and on the bike to provide a qd twist-lock connector and hey presto, I can take it off and refit in little longer than it has taken to write this! My only purchases were the connectors and internal terminals for the wires to fit in the connectors. Just a thought. I don't mind leaving my rack on the bike, but I did all this before it became fashionable to go naked back there!

I just unbolt/bolt the rack off and on. I’m slow so it takes me about 15 minutes... I got no wires to deal with but a 4/6 wire trailer plug ought to work. Folks make way more a deal out of it than it is.

I used weatherpack connectors. Still have to buy the docking hardware, but that is by far cheaper than the alternative whole kit from HD.

Slippery slope once you start so be ready! Used the aftermarket stuff, works great, $150 total to make removable. But then the slide... Plate relocation. Then laydown tail light. Then I didn't like the stock seat with it off so bought a solo, bib and sb covers. Then rounded out with a quick detach backrest and rack. Very versatile setups now but the costs dont stop at just making removable, at least for me they didn't!

I ended up getting the Harley relocation kit through Boardtracker Harley. Works good but expensive.

not sure on the 'kit'? what it includes etc....?

I have a 2008 Ultra and I made mine quick detach. I cut the wires and put in Deutsch connectors. Wasn't super hard to do and but now it's plug/play. Took some reading, I have links at home.
I tucked some wires under the left side cover and put in a fairing antennae, there's already a plug in there for it.
