Default 2009 Road King Spedo Condensation

My '09 king occasionally has some condensation in the speedometer, not too bad, just annoying. Is this an easy fix? Ideas?

As always thanks for the knowledge.

My 2010 RK does the same thing on sunny days when riding northbound. Goes away quickly when back in some shade or headed southbound. I think I've read here that it is pretty normal.

A very common problem. Here's some casual reading.

Totally normal. That is not water, it is a chemical in the speedo to prevent corrosion. Ignore.

Yep, I get the same problem on my low mileage '10 RKC. Happens more often when I see rapid temp changes, like going inland out to the coast. I thought it was condensation / fogging before I read about it here on the forum. I have learned to ignore it.

I'm about 100% positive it's condensation. Harley makes no bones about it that their gauges are not waterproof. Mine always gets plenty of this condensation after riding in the rain or if I've washed the bike. Annoying, but there's nothing really to be done about it. So regardless, one tries to ignore it.

It's water..... polycarbonate absorbs water from the air. Ever see the windshield cloud up. I suspect the window on the speedo is Poly.

I get the same thing. I take the bike out in the morning, start riding and speedo fogs up. It clears up after a little while. I’ve learned to live with it.
