The RAP-B-379U-252025 length is only 1/4 inch as I understand it. My fairing/windshield bolts are 1/2 inch. Did the RAM ball attachment you use screw in tight enough to hold your camera securely? I'm concerned that it would not be long enough to hold the camera securely.

I think RAM got the length dimension wrong. Just count the threads in the pic I get 10, which would mean it is 1/2 inch long.

I believe hbsoldier is correct. Lot of threads for 1/4".

No, I just used a fiber washer between the trim and the RAM bolt. The length of the threads is actually 5/8" or .625.
