Default 07 road king no 6th gear

Ok here it is.. I have a 07 road king 96 ci.510 cams .air cleaner with rinehart true duals. Dyno with tts master tuner..
So riding on the highway.. bike runs strong lots of power and pull 1st thru 5th gears....at around 70-75 mph when I kick it into 6th gear it falls flat on its face . no power feels like it's running on one cylinder .and won't go past 70mph at full throttle. I'm clueless .. but in 5th gear I can hit 95mph easy
I would appreciate any input

Was it always like this or did it change?

Trying to figure out if a problem, or you are just not happy with the power?

Just buy it?

No the power is perfect... it' just when I kick it into 6th gear I lose power .. it won' go past 70mph even with the throttle pinned . I've had the bike a few years .. recently did the cams.. bike ran fine. Took it for dyno and tts tuner. Had this problem since then.. Took it back to the dyno guy twice he says he can't figure out what's wrong with it...he agrees there is a problem when it's kicked into 6th gear.. he's very well known and reputable in the area ... soo I'm very confused

Sounds like a limp mode. Not familar. But i believe if they get hot they shut down a cylinder and spray fuel to cool it.

I have an 07. Not a speed demon in 6th by any means, but pinned should move. is the knock supressor kicking? This is my current guess from thousands of miles away.

I appreciate ur input.. I'm so clueless I'm getting so many different opinions.. the bad part is it's not throwing any codes. Before I took it for the dyno it had a power commander the bike ran fine. In 6th gear I could easily get it over 110mph

Can you do a similar experiment at lower gears? Try going little slow for the gear, but not so that it lugs. But I really have no clue. Just curious.

1st thru 5th gear is perfect in all ranges.. it's only when I go into 6th.. And I've switched into 6th at all rpm and mph same issue

Only things I can think of that effect the bike are RPM limitier, over heatings, knock sensor. Doesn't sound like any of them

Does the ECM even know the bike is in 6th? I always guessed it was just a light on the dash, but never looked into it.

Are you sure, the clutch is not slipping in 6th?

To me, if it will pull to 95 in 5th and you up shift, it should continue pulling, if you suddenly lose power either 6th is stripped and not usable or the clutch is slipping

My .02

That may also be a possibility.. I'm guessing the techs at the dyno shop should know that
