Default replacing rotors ...

FYI ...
you'll need a very good star wrench .(i think it's a 40)...something of very good quality, as they are very hard getting off the first time ..with the amount of lok-tight they use ...as stated before ...a good impact (the hammer twist type) works very well ...

I just changed mine on my 08 Ultra along with bearings and pads. The rotors I ordered on Amazon came with new bolts that were Allen head instead of torx. Good thing to because I had one of the torx rounding out so I had use vice grips on it and sinc I had new ones, just took the rest out with vice grips.

Can you please post a link to the rotors that you bought?

I found/bought these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/202300763586

and these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/DNA-11-8-Su...9Ztpw~&vxp=mtr

I think I'll change the tire while I'm at it.

Knock the bolts before removing. Set your torques socket in place and give the bolt a few light hits with a small hammer. That will help break them loose vs. stripping them out.

Same as the ones I bought on Amazon but Amazon sold them as a pair with bolts. I wasn’t to keen on the polished when first opened them, but they don’t look too bad. Had to get on them pretty hard today to avoid a rollover accident and they worked great.

I went with these Kevlar pads.

i found it easier to remove them if i applied some heat before trying to loosen them. the first one i tried without heat and it broke my torx bit. used heat on all of them afterward and had no issues.
