Frank, if you're going up 219, you'll be only 5 miles from Kinzua Bridge. You gotta go see it. It's a motorcycle trip must-see when you're near it. 219 to Lantz Corners PA, and then right onto 6 east. Then back onto 6 east, and 75 miles to PA Grand Canyon. Then back onto 6 east again for 10 miles. Onto 287 north, and then up 15 to Corning NY. You can get 417 near Corning too. Nothing on 417. Might as well take 6 east, and make a couple cool stops!

Hey from Olean! 219 is a good ride up here and yes, you have to see the Kinzua Bridge. Don’t forget about the Case/Zippo museum in Bradford, PA, you’ll go right past it since you’re not far from that bridge. If you do end up in Bradford, don’t take 219 up to 86/17 and then over to Olean. Instead, catch 346 east, then turn north on 646 which turns to 16 crossing into NY. This is Rock City Hill (not marked as such, locals call it this). It’s a nice windy road, just repaved a couple of years ago. It cuts the corner and brings you right into Olean.
At the top of the hill is Rock City Park. Check it out online and you may want to stop there as well to see house sized rock formations.
I agree with others about the finger lakes areas, Curtiss museum is cool. More avaiation than anything but the old motorcycles and stuff are cool to see.
Heading east from Olean, if you don’t want to take 86/17, Allegany County has routes that basically parallel with 86/17. These roads are nicely paved for the most part and traffic is pretty sparse. Check these out on a map as well to see what I mean. Keeps you off the highway and doesn’t add a ton of time. We take these roads to get out to Hornell and up to the Finger Lakes areas. (County route 20 through Friendship, to Angelica, then catch Karr Valley Road to Almond, then route 21 to Hornell)

I like it a lot. I played the expensive seat roulette game like everyone else and finally settled on the Mustang. I didn't think I would like a firmer seat, but that was the ticket in the long run!

Frank, the PA Grand Canyon is definitely not like the real deal out west, but It's pretty nice for the rolling hills of upstate PA. Do a Google search on Grand Canyon of PA, and then click on Images to see what it is. I think it should be 1 of your stops if you're close to it.
