53 here and have been riding since 1979. I’ve had my accident and it has never crossed my mind to stop. I’ll move to a trike when and if the day comes where I can no longer safely back my bike up or otherwise maneuver it, then I’ll ride that trike into the wild blue yonder (or assisted living facility)

Not knocking your state because I love cali and vacation there every year but allowing motorcycles to split traffic is crazy on the law makers and equally as crazy for the bikes that do it, every time I'm out there my car gets the dust knocked off every panel on it by bikes splitting me at 90mph, craziness in my opinion, agree or not that is my take on that.

I only recently returned to riding after 30 years. To me, it's not an age issue. If someone isn't comfortable, no matter at what age, then perhaps it's time to move on. I'm 62, and just returned from a 1500 mile road trip. I live and ride in Las Vegas, and people here think every road is a race track. It's not hard to stay in the slow lane, and simply enjoy the ride.

I'm 75 this next month. had lung cancer surgery a couple years ago. The road in front of me ain't a long one, no matter what. Guess I'll ride it on my Road King as far as I can.

At 61 years old, a lady cut in front of me and I hit her broadside and went over the car and rolled down the road. Back up and riding in six weeks. Life goes on.

Am 65 ride here in SW Fl, distracted drivers young and old. See as many 60 somethings on their phones driving as 30 somethings. Both are distracted drivers, always looked at riding as fun. Its still fun.....so I think Ill go for a ride when the rain stops. If your biological clock or brain is telling you its time to stop.....regardless of the reason. Only you know if you should listen.
If your looking for someone too support your point of view, you will find just as many who see the other side. The sands in the hour glass only run so long, you can only enjoy the pleasures of life while healthy enough to do so. As long as I can ride and be safe......I am going to ride.

No quitting but it is crazy. Smoking pot, vaping so much the vapor fills the car. Texting taking selfies , windshield blocked by huge device in the window. Doing every thing except driving.

I'm 57 and don't plan on quitting riding but i agree about late starts in life people learning to ride ,when friends ask what i think i tell them straight up what i think ,not a good idea, especially when they are raising kids

66 and seen my share of idiots. I keep looking and watching. You'll get no push back or criticism from me. To each their own. If you feel good, do it. If you are uncomfortable, then don't. You are the one who knows. All I can say is enjoy your ride!!
