Front Fork seal repair cost

It's not a hard job, just takes a little time. I swapped lowers (stock for black) on FLHX & changed fork oil/seals in ~5-hrs one Sat...which was about a 12-pack job for most, but I wrench sober & have cold ones when I wash/clean.
Do a search...tons of videos out there showing the process.

Actually, it's a big job if you have to ask. And to save a lot of grief, ask your dealer. If all it is doing is leaving a film, that is pretty normal. If it is squirting out, someone put too much in there. Unless of course, you are doing motocross on the weekends. On a 99, you need to replace the bronze oilite bushings when resealing. Could even be the sliders too. They need to be checked in the wear area they travel on the bushings as compared to above or below it. I am not sure of the allowance of wear.
