INNOVV C5 or K2 dash cameras

After reading all the write ups for the past few months, I ordered the INNOVV, I have a GoPro, but usually either forget to turn it on, or the battery dies when I really need it. I’m going to be heading to Yellowstone and Sturgis this summer, should be a good test. Thank you to everyone for all the write ups and information.

Since this thread, which is just about one year old has resurfaced, I thought I might add a reference to the INNOVV-K2 install thread I put together back last July just in case anyone is contemplating adding a K2 system to a bagger with a batwing fairing.

The install has worked well and I have had no problems with the camera system itself. The camera locations are, "view wise", very good and very stable while being very unobtrusive.

So when you're riding and you get to an area that you don't wanna record you can turn off and turn it back on when you get to an area you do want to record, I'm looking to get Innovv k2 to record my the really scenic parts of my trips, so when hit a stretch of road that I don't want to record I can just reach down and press the switch and turn the cameras off without stopping and then turn them back on when I want. So it would save time when editing the videos.

Cam Location Suggestion
I found magnet mounts work great. Placed the front cam on the base of the triple-tree. It turns with the wheel and can be left in place even when completely removing the fairing (assuming you place the DVR under the fuse box side cover or similar). The rear cam likewise is magnet mounted so I can change from rack to tour pack easily. Flat, rare earth magnets are readily available; see Ebay. Photo's attached.
