No Manual With A $30k bike?
 

Looking at 2019 touring bikes today at local dealer. Had some questions about the new Infotainment center that the sales person couldn't answer. So I said, "well let's just look at the manual." His response? "We don't have one. The bikes no longer come with a manual." But wait, the main owners' manual refers me to the Infotainment manual. "Sorry, the bike doesn't come with one." After calling Harley HQ I was told they are available for purchase and was given a part number. Only $20. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You want $30k for this bike and you want me to buy the manual as an add on? I don't think so.

I'm calling complete bullshit on this one. Your dealer is an idiot. Call another one and verify.

Don't need to call another dealer. Called Headquarters - they gave me part number for the manual and said you have to order it.

The 2019's at my dealer had them in the saddle bag. Maybe its a dealer option now to provide them. Never heard of new motorcycles not having a owners manual until this thread.

My $20k 18 RG came with two manuals. One for the bike and an even bigger one for the Boom.

I'm not talking about owners manual. I'm talking about the separate Infotainment manual that is actually thicker than the owners manual.

The infotainment manual was also in the bikes saddlebag as previous years. Kind of hard to operate system without manual.
