2014 hard bags on older bikes pics
Hi all,
I've read all the postings about whether or not the 2014 one-touch bags will fit 2013 or older bikes so this is not another one of those threads. What I am trying to find is the fitment from the front to rear. The 2014 bags look wider than the 2013 bags so I am curious to know if they stick out farther than the saddle bag guards. Does anybody have any pictures of 2014 bags on older bikes from the front of the bike? I throw around the idea of getting hard bags for my 2013 RKC and we know 2013 hard bags fitment, but the one-touch release is a nice feature. I'd also be curious to know what the 2014 bags look like on the 2013 straight saddle bag guards where the 2014's have the dip in them. I'd read one or two posts that you may be able to swap out the 2013 guards with the 2014 guards but more research is needed there.
Anywho, thanks in advance for the pics.

If you want to do it right and have it look like a 14 and up bike get the rails, support and fender struts off of a 14 and up bike and it will look like stock. The rear sub-frame is the same for 2009 and up bikes. Go to Ronnies microfiche and you can look up the part numbers. I bought the struts for less than $100 and got the support rail for free from someone that didn't need them anymore.
