I have a TP on my road King too and it does make a difference in handling for me as well. At slower speeds with the TP on I can feel the bike is more top heavy. But I would not say its a huge difference. Just handles differently, as long as you're aware of it, no biggy at all.
Same here, and it makes it much nicer to ride without it.
I have a 2001 and a 2003 Ultra. I ride the 2001 at the beach (low speeds, parking lots) and removed the Tour-Pak to lighten the load. That’s where I can feel the difference in easier handling. Out on the highway in 5th gear you can’t tell them apart.
I have a 16 RGU, and yes it’s a big difference for me. I only put the TP on for longer distance with the misses. Also get the antenna mounted in fairing. Less BS to deal with when taking on \ off.

I literally just got back from picking my bike up at a shop. Got it off the trailer, put the TP on and went for a sub 10 mile ride. Honestly no difference but maybe I am just a tough SOB. LMAO!!!
The only time I put the tour pack on,it comes with a 110 pound women sitting in front of it telling me to slow down, so yes it does change the feel somewhat...
