Does anyone if a 2014 special inner fairing would fit on a 2011 Street Glide. Can it be done ? or is there anyway i can put a large screen on 11

Welcome to the Forum lots of great info here enjoy and learn from Stuart Fl. Ride a Lot Ride Safe. Don’t think there much difference in those fairings it may just fit.

The farings changed from 13 to 14 when the Rushmore bikes came out. I know for surebthe windshield mount holes changed and tge newer farings got a vent and inner cubby holes. Whether that makes mounting old outer to new inner difficult or impossible idk.
I do know that there are inner double din farings to fit 07-13 bikes. They're pretty pricey though.

 

I had an 11 now a 16.Like said above the windshield mounting holes ate different. Not sure about the inner fairing to outer mount holes.

 

Gauges are different size. How do you plan to mount the old style gauges? Anything can be done with enough time and money, but there is a lot to change. The outer is not the same size and shape on the newer bikes either.

 

I know a few have claimed to have done it but it will be a huge job. You have to change the outer fairing also because the newer inner won't match the shape of your older outer fairing. Your older gauges won't fit in the newer inner fairing and the wiring has changed completely so there is no easy way to use the newer gauges on your bike.
