Hard Bag lig protector?
Does anyone know of a product that I could put on the top of my hard bag lids to protect them? Im getting a few scratches from the wife draging a shoe across the top when she climbs on, I really dont care for the Chrome Rails that Harley sells, I also wonder about the leather bras for them, Im worried dirt and dust may get behind them and rub on the paint. I know I saw some Flat Chrome metal flames that stuck to the lids with double back tape that looked cool, but now I cant remember where I saw them. Any idea would be greatley appreciated,

3M makes many products that would do what you want to do without changing the appearance of the lid.

I have bra for FLHTCI, both for flairing and bags. Have had to one season without any abrasions visible. Had same problems with wife dragging boot across upon mounting. Tried getting her to mount me and bike naked, but didnt go over well, that what happens after 34 years of being married, at least she still gets on,both bike and me.

I use a leather protecter from "meguiar's leather cleaner". Got mine at Auto zone for $6 bucks. So far it works great. I also use it on my Lazy Boy in the house.
