Default Alan Johnson Heads? Any One Familiar With Them?

Saw a 1995 Road King for sale on craigslist. It has Alan Johnson heads on it. Never heard of them. I did a google search for them. All I could find for Alan Johnson was auto heads. Found a Johnson Engine Technology. It looks like they just do modifications and repairs on HDs. Guess I call the guy up and ask him. Just wondering if any one knows about them.

kendall Johnson is a well known bike/engine builder. Allan Johnson owns many performance companies and is a big name in drag racing. He was a crew chief, then team owner of top fuel dragsters. I didn't know he did HD stuff, but he makes cylinder heads for top fuel motors.

I know Alan Johnson in a round about way, hung out with him at a few races as we have quite a few mutual, high horsepower friends. If he’s done a set of Harley heads, it’s definitely a “one off set”. My guess it’s Kendall Johnson

The guy sent me a pic. Sure enough . Right there on the side of the head is milled out and engraved ALAN JOHNSON Cylinder Heads in red.. On the outside of the head where the push rods go is milled out. I can't get my computer to post the pic.

Good looking bike. Might have to knock the methbillies away with little baggies of gravel and copper wire strands to go look at it though hahaha. As far as Alan Johnson, I haven’t heard that name in a good while and never associated with a Harley but if it’s on there........ maybe a homie hookup for a buddy? We ported and flowed some strange stuff for friends when I was in the hotrod business lol.

Well. I called Alan Johnson Engineering. The guy I talked to said that yes they did produce Evo heads for a short while. So they are legit.
