I think its hilarious that no matter the road or conditions, the bikes are always spotless!
I enjoyed the entire SOA series, still trying to decide about Mayans. I live in California and know the area well where SOA was taking place. I don't believe there was a single scene with rain. Always perfect weather. Even during CA's drought . . . that wasn't realistic.
I'm usually easily entertained but this show is rough. It's just a cartel show and they threw in the MC to sell the show to SOA fans so they could get some ratings in the beginning.

You nailed it, it's a show about the cartel and the resistance fighting against them. The main character's reason for being released from prison was to get intel on Galindo, not even the MC. I do like Johnny's sister though.
Too much cartel /drugs not enough about the riding and bikes and MC. SOA was pretty good. Take with grain of salt but overall pretty good. Like most shows.
Sons of Anarchy was a much better show because of the acting and writing. That was the reason it lasted for several years. Mayans will not be on as long.
