The 06 has the half improved cam chain tensioners and that would make my decision for me. In 07 they finally upgraded both cam chain tensioners. I also prefer the full sized trunk, but that is personal. Good luck.

as for value the red 06 has more accessories. … upgrades and is 3 years newer. I like the color better on the black one and I like the chopped tour pack. but I would still buy the red 06 newer year = a few little upgrades removable tour pack, is really nice. I like the bars and the fact that it is carbeurated , easy to work on. You live in florida so warm up isn't a big issue. If you were in Michigan you might want fi. I would make an offer and see where you land. cash may make one cheaper than the other. good luck and enjoy the ride.

 

 

1 touch saddle bags are a really nice add and the dirty air would be the clincher.
