Default Footpeg Mounts with Lower Fairings

is it generally understood that all footpeg mounts will work with lower fairings or are there some exceptions?

I'm looking at adding lower fairings but need to know what will and will not work with those fairings with regards to footpeg mounts. Performance Dynamics makes some nice products with the Renthal rubber grips so their Overdrive matching grips and foot pegs might be an upgrade in the near future but I need a mount for them that will work with lowers

The lower fairings limit where you can mount the foot pegs. You have to mount below them. But, as long as you accept that limitation you shou”d be fine.

Here are a few pics of mine with the short angled mounts.

Somewhat pricey, but an alternative to traditional engine guard mounts.

thanks, I was checking them out last night via Youtube with Ryan Urlacher and John Maxwell

from those videos, I gathered that they would be scraping a lot as they really extend low and out on the bottom side but I may be wrong.

Ciro though does have a nice universal peg mount that I think will work and I'm gonna try

Hi there,

Thank you for your interest in Ciro! To answer your question about the scraping, the Frame Mounted Adjustable Highway Peg Mounts are designed to replace the stock floorboard mounts as to not interfere with the bikes lean angle.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask us!

Thank you,
The Ciro Team

well that answered that question

I have to comment though, that frame mounted option is also pretty pricey. I'll take another look at them though, thanks for the reply and clarifying that lean angle question

I looked at the Ciro mounts. I think it is a cool idea and would solve the issue with mounting to the crash bar and around fairing lowers. I would purchase a set in a minute. But the $250 price tag is just more than I am willing to pay.

Kury longhorns. They clear the lowers and are highly adjustable. Here they are on a '16 FLHTK:
