My feelings exactly. The 2 things I miss from my BMW are the adjustable windscreen and electronic suspension.

Plus, the windshield isn't hidden in the fairing. It's on the outside of the fairing, and windshield rides up and down on rails. Just like on a Yamaha FJR 1300, and a Honda ST1300, and sny other bike that has an electric windshield. Easy, peasy!

Huh. Never noticed that before. I need to look the next time I am close to one.

I second that emotion.
When I sold my last BMW and rode the SGS home from the dealer I thought, "what in the hell did I do"?

No idea. My 1995 BMW has one, and it's a great feature.

24 years later, Harley still doesn't have one. I wish my FLTRU had one.

The new Goldwing does.

I’ll let ya’ll know this fall. I turn 50 and promised myself a 2020 road Glide Ultra which will come standard with the 120 and will have the electric shield.

I had a Honda ST1300 with an electric windshield and it was GREAT. One of the best accessories I ever had on a bike. I've always wondered why Harley has never engineered one for the Ultras.

Right now I have an organic adjustable windshield. While riding, if I tighten the muscles in my back causing me to sit up straight, the windshield automatically lowers. Amazing.

The windshield height on my Glide is perfect in all conditions, never once have I wished I could raise or lower it.
