Default First ride of the year!!!

Getting in the wind in January in PA is certainly a treat. Got up to 46° today, and was able to get my new smart security system programmed in, and was able to test my new heated grips while out for a ride. Once the sun went down, the temps dropped to the mid 30’s. It was a bit chilly on the way home.

Man I sure needed some seat time, haven’t been on the bike since the beginning of November.

New year's day here in VA Beach was 73 degrees. Last year the same day was 23. Usually in 40's and 50's all winter so can commute everyday. Moved here in '97 from NE Iowa for the Navy and do not miss the winters there!

I also got the first ride of the year in yesterday. Got into the upper 50's. It felt great to get in some wind therapy. I noticed my right fillerz light has stopped working all together. I found a wire that got cut so it's not getting power. I'll solder the wire and heat shrink it. It's nice get a day to ride in January since we got snow and ice first of November. I really needed a ride. Maybe it will last me till riding seasons starts. Hoping for a early spring.

I was in Bloomsburg Sat at Bill’s Old Bike Barn. That’s as close to riding as I came. It was a nice day in PA after the mountain fog burned off.

Ohio was nice too. I put on 80 miles without getting too cold!
