Okay new so bare with me. I have 2000 ultra and have upgraded the cam chain tensioner to the screaming eagle kit . Has anyone had trouble with the hydraulic shoes sticking?

I'm sure it could happen but I have never heard of it. But I'm sorta out of the loop in my old age...

I've ask the techs at the dealership and they have never heard of it. Just seeing if anyone else has and what they did to fix it.

How do you know they are sticking ? Who installed the hybrid cam plate?

I installed the kit and i can here chain cladder when the bike warms up and the relief valve opens and closes. And i have taken the cover off and have to pry the shoe out.

This is the sceaming eagle up grade kit its hydraulic and comes with its own shoes spings and piston and housings

I'm spitballing a little here but:
  1. Any "spare parts" when you were done assembling and installing the new cam plate?
  2. Were all bolts torqued properly during install?
  3. What is your idle oil pressure with the new pump assembly installed?
