It sounds like you have a source for some wheels but here’s something else to consider. Your stuck with the 16x3 for the rear. But if you get a 17x3 from an ‘09 for the front it would be the same size as every ultra and elite for the last ten years. That will give you a much bigger selection and availability of tires.

You're right but I actually like the look of the Air Strikes and like I said, I'm not against going with a larger wheel in the front. Chances are it would be cheaper as well.

The SG Air Strike front wheels is also available in 18", I have one in my older Glide, also 17" in addition to the original 16". All the stock Harley Touring front wheels in 16", 17", 18" and 19" have almost identical rolling diameters, due to each larger size having a lower profile tyre than the others.

this was over a year ago but I'm looking for a 16x3 airstrike rear wheel. Wondering if you knew where to find one?

I have a front 16" one & have both 3/4" & 1" bearings. I will have a rear one once I get a 2008 rear swing arm & modify it for the 180/65/16 tire & wheel that I have for my 1999 Ultra. I just put on a 18" on my front.
