Color-Matched Inner Fairing, Cool or Stupid?
What's the prevailing opinion of a color-matched inner fairing? Does it look good? Does the paint hold up? Does it age well?
Pros? Cons?
Thank you.

Some like it, some don't. Doesn't matter either way.
Do what you would like and don't worry about anonymous opinions from people you will never meet or know (kind of like my response).

I like em. But my opinion doesn’t matter dude, your bike. If you like it do it. Who cares what other people think.

It's all an upgrade, that's why CVO comes painted. In my case the inner fairing started fading badly so when I got the bike painted we did the inner fairing as well. A lot of work on the Road Glide to remove the inner fairing but now that it's done I love it shines like the rest of the bike.

For those who have one, does it look good? Does the paint hold up? Does it age well?

I like the gloss black on my 14 SGS. I'm getting my bike painted this color of orange candy and figured I'd get blinded by the orange whenever the sun was over my shoulder.........

Some colors look good some do NOT.
Your money, your bike!
I've owned three touring models that I never considered painting the inner fairing. Now with the current CVO model I do like it a lot.
Good luck with your decision.

Think it might be good on a dark colored bike, or use a dark color* that compliments a light color.
Just looked a bright red bike with the inner fairing painted to match. I would hate looking at that.
* NOTE: black complicments all colors. LOL!
