Default Heated Gear Power

Looking to remotely locate my heated gear power lead or install the hard mount controller. Do not like the wires hanging everywhere loosely. Would like to see some ideas for locations some of you guys have done.

Plug for jacket just at nose of seat. Tucks underneath in summer. Plug for 2nd jacket, Battery Tender & lithium ion battery jumper.
2nd one is the 24” heavy one from EarthX. It’s rated at 400 amps. You can get adapters for heated clothing.

Zip tied to saddle bag crash bar.

Got mine routed coming out the front of the seat, left side. Fits perfectly with the plug from the jacket coming down the left side of my body over my pants pocket.

This is what I did on my RG.

Mounted the controllers in the speedometer housing.

Bought a console from an ultra and gutted the guts for the intercom connection and mounted the power plugs in the console pod. Fit is tight but it works well.

Sorry, I don't have a picture but I have mine coming out from under the seat on the left hand side just at the tank. I have enough room there the wire is not pinched and I can pull it out to use or feed the wire back under the seat so that only the tip of the connector is sticking out.

First gear makes a hardwire plug I have mounted in the left side air deflector. Works for tender and heated gear.

Wired plug direct to battery, bracket screws into tapped hole for wind deflectors on frame down tubes. It can be removed easy enough once spring arrives.

Run the wire thru the slot in the seat for the backrest.

I REALLY like this setup!!! I have an Ultra and could do something similar on the dash and I do not use my wired intercom.
THANKS!!!
