It never does make it easy, especially with seats. Unfortunately, it's trial and error. I got lucky with my Le Pera. I only had to go through one other solo seat (Mustang Low Down) before I found the Le Pera. I didn't like the Mustang at all but others rave about it. Good luck.

My HD Solo Brawler set me down and back. It also looks great. However, I’m not attempting to go long distance on that seat.

I wouldn't know about the air bladder mine's the coil over shock type, but still a very comfortable ride.
