Thanks , I looked through my repair manual and couldn’t find any help. Took a breather and tried again with success .
Got the throttle wires pulled through without any issues. That part was very easy to do .
Its 10:15 pm. Decided to end the evening without pushing my luck.
Tomorrow is another day.

Finished up this morning, everything went great. 1st timer so it took a little longer, but delighted with the install, and no damage incurred!
Everything works and they look great too.
Now I'm looking for handlebar mirrors. Any suggestions? I know that they too are a personal taste item. I'm after functionality, but not wanting them any higher than necessary

OK, I ordered the 2+2's for my 2014 SGS.
Watched a video of the install. Pretty confident about doing it myself other than taking the ETW connector apart and not messing it up physically. Not worried about getting the color coding correct, but somehow damaging the connector itself or pins.
Thinking about cutting the end off and solder splicing it back together. Is this a really bad idea? Seems simple enough in my Old mushy brain.

I used these mirrors - https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...h-slotted-stem
I was worried that I might lose some vision but they actually have a very wide angle view. Plus the script matched my HD shifter rod and license plate frame so it all matches.
Congrats in the DIY install. Post up you review/comments after you get to ride and try them out!
